Bagel Express...why not?

Posted on 18:50 by Unknown
When I was younger I loved toasted bagels  with cream cheese but I never eat them any more for my own dietary reasons...

But a lot of people in NYC make bagels a sort of daily ritual, so here we go with typical reviews

Lots of bagel options- multigrain, onion, egg , blueberry and etc and a lot of spreads as well- the best ones are olives and cream cheese, or blueberry.
Decent burgers- $5-$6 and you have a dinner.
Super fast.2-3 minutes and you and your newly obtained brown lunch bag  are good to go.
Decor- horrible. The worst fast food place to actually sit down and eat your lunch. Lots of traffic, ugly chairs and tables, unkempt area, loud and stressful. Get your lunch and RUN!

Delish whole wheat everything bagels.  I love their low fat lox spread too.  Their egg white omelets are also very good.  Down side -- double check your order before you leave as they are notorious for screw ups!

So great and it was right near where I was staying, so this was crucial and super helpful since I wasn't trying to really dine out for every single meal while visiting from out of town.  They had a wide selection of sandwiches and breakfast food.  Drinks, snacks, cereal...you name it and they had what you were looking for.  It was great :-)

Highly recommend this place and location for anyone who is in the "grab-N-go" needs for a meal and drink.

Hungover, needed something in my gullet before starting my day.  I settled on a quick bagel before starting my adventure.  Coffee is average, certainly wasn't the worst diner coffee, you know, the kind where you want coffee so badly, you order it anyway, just to throw a half cup away before you're finished, because at first you say, "this isn't so bad" then you say to yourself this coffee is disgusting tossing a half cup of coffee in the trash.  Don't you love all my inner dialogue,  just to get through coffee? Maybe I am always writing a Yelp review in my head.

Any way, a sesame bagel toasted with scallion, certainly yummy, there were a couple of cream cheeses that I had never seen, one was grilled mango.  Some other sweeter ones too.  There were many choices, tofu options, low fat selections.  Not that I even bothered to look, I hate when bagels automatically use low fat, yuck!  Service was pleasant, speedy and a reasonably priced.
