Wait a second, I have been meaning to get to Fusha Japanese...

Posted on 17:58 by Unknown
I have been meaning to get around to this place for some time,  might as well end with it tonight ( I hope it gets good reviews!!) (Yes, it does).

Well, let's see--how can people have such different opinions of the same place? Mostly raves, I must say.....Well, that is how people are, we are learning. May help to read a few more reviews than I usually would..

One of my favorite sushi places in Midtown, interior design is awesome, it has a special atmosphere to it. They deliver with a seriously blazing speed. I'm a huge edamame fan, and their portion is a solid one. They're not gonna drain your wallet too. All fish is fresh and delicious. The special rolls such as the Golden Dragon with mango mmm my personal favorite, or the Sweet Sensation, with strawberries - delicious. It's a place definitely worth a visit for all seafood fans.

This place confuses me. I get it, I live in NYC and eating out can be expensive. However, Fusha has now gotten to a level where there's just no reason to go or order in from there. Do yourself a favor and for the money you spend here, get yourself a legit good meal. I used to like Fusha, when it was simply priced a tad higher than the quality of the food.

Great food and amazing staff. First time we came with 4 kids and everything went smoothly. The wait staff is awesome, I recommend getting William if you can. Plum wine awesome, beef teriyaki awesome, spider roll awesome. This is our 3rd time here and I'm finally writing a review

Stopped in for take-out and grabbed the Duck Spring Rolls and Chicken Pad Thai. The portions were incredibly generous and lasted me two and a half meals! The spring rolls were great and the pad thai was satisfactory, but didn't have strong flavor. Overall, a nice corner take-out place. The environment seemed significantly nicer and the bar was full of after-work friends grabbing drinks, so maybe eating in is a better experience. I will grab food there again but wouldn't go out of my way to find the place.

I've ordered from dozens of sushi restaurants before, this definitely is top 5 for the largest portion sizes for the price.

As for the sushi, it's okay. It was pretty fresh, but in my opinion sliced very poorly - the pieces that were in the rolls were just huge (but in a difficult to eat way). Their spicy rolls are a combination of your typical spicy purée and larger pieces of fish with spicy sauce. Certainly one of the hottest spicy tuna and salmon rolls I've ever had! The lunch special came with both dumplings and a soup or salad. Vegetable dumplings were subpar but it's nice that they offer a little extra something at lunch time for the same price as competitor take-out places.

I'm not sure I'd order from here again seeing as there are tons of places to get delivery sushi from (with fish cut and served more precisely) - but if you're looking for a plentiful lunch Fusha is worth a shot.

I must not like this place...I've been there 3 times in the last 2 weeks! Absolutely delicious food in a modern, organic setting (check out the glass wall of grains and beans).

If you're going with a group, do yourselves a favor and start with the pan fried veggie dumplings, the edamame and, best of all, the SWEET POTATO TEMPURA SUSHI ROLL!

The mojito is pretty good...I know, I know but who would have thought?!?

If you have vegan diners in your group, this place is an excellent option. Service is a major plus, too.

First night out in NYC, had a friend come in from Queens for dinner.

We decided on sushi, pulled out the trusty Yelp app. and Fusha was the closest sushi-bar with a high-star rating.

Off to Fusha we went. I ordered one of their signature cocktails, I don't remember the name but it had Patron in it. The drink was very strong but delicious none-the-less.

We ordered edamame and for my entree I had the ahi tuna salad which was to die for. My friend had the chicken terriyaki sushi, while my other friend had the salmon and tuna roll.

Everything was delicious and they give you hot towels to clean your hands with!

Definitely will be returning when in NYC!

This is my #1 pick, when it comes to ordering lunch at work.  Fusha has THE fastest delivery service and its lunch specials are AWESOME.

I usually order the two sushi roll lunch combo via seamless -- it is a perfect deal.  For, like, 10 bucks I get two beautiful sushi rolls (I usually get the spicy tuna roll (Fusha's version is perfection) and my favorite, the Philadelphia roll (which Fusha has also mastered)), a beautifully dressed small salad, and two savory dumplings.

Not only is the lunch deal a lot of bang for your buck, but everything is BEAUTIFULLY packaged.  The Fusha staff organizes the delivery bag in the most thoughtful way -- a mini ziplock bag containing all necessary sushi spices (including a mini soy sauce dish - so cute!), a separate bag with utensils, and the food items are perfectly placed in beautiful containers.

I will continue to give Fusha my business -- it has raised the bar quite high when it comes to excellent lunch service.

Service and food is amazing. Above and beyond the call of waiter duty. Love this place - fresh sushi and delicious sparkling sake!
