New York Doctors Walk In Clinic Kips Bay/Murray Hill

Posted on 17:37 by Unknown
In the last five years, more of these walk in urgent care places have opened...I guess they beat going to a hospital emergency room for a lot of people, particularly if they have good insurance plans.

I wonder if there are any reviews yet for this place in Kips Bay--mostly yeas here with a notable sour apple or two..

couldn't reach my primary physician and my other doctor didn't have any open appointments until the following week. ugh, useless. i am impatient. i must see a doctor, otherwise i will go on webmd and irrationally think i will die. i know i know, "it's not lupus".

don't know the difference between a walk-in clinic and an urgent care center, aside from the fact that urgent care just seems... well, faster. uh, it wasn't. thankfully i passed the time watching horrible reality tv on e!

overall pleased with the experience. paperwork was easy-peasy and my insurance covered everything. plus this place is immaculately clean. knocking off one star because i had to wait 45mins... and while both the nurse and doctor were nice, they were super brief. whatever, i got my prescription which is what matters.

I went into this place last Wednesday. I was starting to feel pretty sick, sinus pain, coughing, sore throat, etc, and knew it was gonna be bad. They took me into a room pretty quickly, and where a nurse came in and gave me a flu test (who knew they could take a swab and determine if you have the flu?), and then left me in the room for a while. After a long time, a doctor finally came in, took about 5 minutes to barely listen to my symptoms, and wrote me a paper that said to take over the counter sudafed, mucinex, and ibuprofen. I asked if there was anything else I should do, she didn't even tell me to stay home from work.

It's now been a week, and I've only gotten worse. I called to ask if they could take me again, since they obviously did not diagnose me correctly the first time and I've followed the doctors instructions completely. They said I'd have to pay for another visit since they only take people back "within 48 hours". I will never go here again, and I hope you find somewhere else to go like I now have to as well.

I'm writing this review for the Murray Hill location, based on an appointment my boyfriend recently had that I accompanied him to.

The women at the desk were very friendly and helpful. The waiting area was very clean and modern, and the wait time was like 3 minutes.

Boyfriend said the doctor was very friendly and thorough. The whole physical took about 5 minutes, and my boyfriend asked about a problem he was having and the doctor gave him a helpful answer. Boyfriend called the atmosphere "soothing," so I guess that's good. They also gave him a free water bottle, which I thought was cool (since I'll probably be the one using it...heh heh heh).

A very pleasant place if you need a quick physical. Everyone was quick, nice, and professional.

As a person who works in the medical field, I am always extremely critical of any kind of healthcare received.  I make sure the staff wash their hands (they better be singing happy birthday twice), wear their gloves, protect my privacy, and are just overall pleasant.

I had a great experience at the 32nd and Lexington location (which is conveniently located a few blocks from the 6 train) with Dr. Agee.  The staff were extremely professional and the facility itself was very modern, clean and sterile without feeling uninviting.

I felt extremely comfortable with Dr. Agee and she eased my anxieties when she explained to me that the brain tumor I conjured up that I was developing was merely just a case of seasonal allergies.

It was a great visit with a nice little water bottle and a lollipop at the end of my visit.  You can't go wrong with that.

New York Doctors Urgent Care is a blessing with two convenient locations. I wish I would have known about this place sooner. NYC needs more urgent care facilities like this. I do not like hospitals or emergency rooms. They are expensive and uncomfortable which is the last thing I want to deal with when I am sick.

This place by far was the nicest place I have ever been where you can receive medical attention. The inside is sleek and modern, flat screens and magazines to entertain me while I wait. However there is not much of wait, the staff is friendly, you see the doctor, you are in and you are out, and they give you a nice water bottle and a lolipop for the "pain".

Very cool place. Hopefully I am never sick again but If I am I am coming back here.

Really nice office and nice staff. I went there today and there was almost no wait, got a referral for an Xray just a few blocks away and filled a prescription. Very nice, clean, modern office and you can watch trivia questions on the monitor while you wait. I would definitely pop in here again.

I came here (the 32nd and Lex location) for a flu shot the other night, and also just to get a general physical. First of all, it is incredibly convenient - no appointment necessary and the hours are much better than my general physician's hours (which would have required me leaving work by 4pm to get the flu shot across town).

The staff was sweet and friendly, the wait was under ten minutes, and the doctor was incredibly knowledgeable and personable. I will definitely be coming back for any medical needs I need addressed in the future - wonderful place to count on in New York!

I came here with horrible pain in my abdomen area. I made it clear to the doctor that this was not a normal occurrence and my pain was atleast at a level of 7/10. She seemed to be stuck on the fact that I had consumed a few drinks of alcohol the night before, tested me for pregnancy (which I assured her wouldn't be the case), and sent me on my way with nothing but a prescription for Prilosec. I left the office almost in tears knowing that this was not right. Later that night, I ended up in the emergency room scheduled for emergency surgery to remove my appendix.

I cannot believe that Dr. Joy missed this and advise anyone to chose another clinic if they are ever in the need of urgent care. I have a cousin who is an Internist--after this happened, he told me that it is in very poor practice to miss appendicitis.

    Awful.

New York Doctors Urgent Care is the doctors office I have been looking for in NY. I visited their new location on 32nd and Lex and it was an optimal experience. Thank goodness! I was in and out in less than 30 minutes!!

I was seen by Dr. Agee for a physical and she was great. She was very informative during the entire visit. She explained in detail each step of the procedure and addressed my age appropriate health concerns. She was also helpful with suggesting preventative care regarding my family history with certain cancers and illness.

Also Dr. Agee told me she had already seen patients for the flu- it's starting already this season! I got a flu shot too and that was quick and relatively painless.

The environment was clean and inviting. The location was convenient and welcoming. The lobby and patient room were organized and professional. They even give you a water bottle and lollipop as you leave. I loved their attention to detail. I highly recommend using New York Doctors Urgent Care.

Dr. Agee for President!  No seriously, where has this woman been all of my life?  Good doctors are difficult to come by, doctors who really, really care.  And this sets Dr. Agee apart from many other doctors who are just going through the motions.

With that being said, I am very pleased and happy to be Dr. Agee's patient.

I visited the NY Doctor's Urgent Care on Lexington Ave in Midtown, and Dr. Agee and her staff are wonderful individuals.  She shows you that she actually cares, and that is so rare, especially in New York.  And the environment is so inviting and warm, you don't feel as if you're waiting in an urgent care facility, the feeling that you get is more like you're waiting for a personal care service such as a massage.  And that is exactly what you get, personal care.  I was even offered tea and water while I waited; so, so rare.

Dr. Agee has a lifelong patient in me.

Great service, friendly and accommodating staff, little to no wait time, and Dr. Agee is great.

So glad that I finally found a great doctors in Manhattan. None of the usual drudgery of a doctor's appointment was anywhere to be seen here (long waits, rude service, etc.). With a doctor's office, they have to hit two notches; good health care and good customer service, without one, the other doesn't matter. Urgent Care passed both with flying colors.

Everyone was friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. They keep everything moving quickly in there so I only waited about 5 minutes. The nursing staff and Dr. Agee were both super helpful and I left feeling really good. Also, it's super-clean in there so if you're a bit of a clean-freak like I am, you'll feel good about going here. Also super convenient, no appointment necessary and they have great hours. Where has this place been all my life? I highly recommend...
