Manhasset, NYI love the selection of frozen yogurts and toppings, however, I wish the allergy info was written by the toppings section.
The place is clean, staff is friendly and price is better than Pinkberry and Red Mango. -

I have to say that I am addicted to fro-yo. There, I admitted it...Anyway, one night I happened to be having dinner on the Upper East Side, an area of the city that I almost never visit, and was in need of a sweet finale to the evening. I opened my trusty Yelp app and searched for "frozen yogurt" places in the area. After reading the overwhelming cries of decadent passion for Off the Wall, I knew that this was the spot for me.
Upon my arrival at the large and fun-filled treat heaven, I encountered a multitude of self-serve stations, many offering non-fat flavors that I have not seen at competitive shops. The Peach variety was a bit too sweet, but the Angel Food Cake and Mango Sorbet were perfection.
I also loved their selection of unusual toppings, such as chia and flax seeds, both of which added flavor but a nominal amount of weight, keeping the price low. The granola was also crispy and fabulous, but the fruit had been rather picked through and slimy. To be fair, though, the place was about to close. However, the late hour did not deter the staff, which was congenial.
Since that visit, I have seen at least one other Off the Wall location sprout up in the city, which was really a bittersweet surprise, as I will now have to make a conscious effort to not head there on a daily basis! -

Manhattan, NYThis is my favorite froyo place in the city. The flavors are delicious, and they have 16 at all times. The toppings are great, and range from cereals, to candies and fruit. The kiwi strawberry flavor is the best I've ever had!! I love that I can get a small portion and pay per ounce. -

Vacaville, CASixteen flavors-nice variety inclusing non fat selections. Nice amount of topping choices. 51 cents an ounce. Expensive in my book but probably not for NY. CA is around 39 - 44 cents an ounce. Hopping for 8:30 at night on a Tuesday night.-

San Francisco, CAUgh. I ordered three bowls in one sitting and spent nearly $14....frozen yogurt, sugary cereal and fresh fruit are a dangerous combination. I enjoyed the sweet sixteen flavor with a tiny bit of the sour apple. I thought the workers were really good at keeping busy. Constantly wiping tables, emptying trays, cleaning counters, swiping my debit card... I can positively vouch for fresh deliciousness at this location and for those of you that bear a similar willpower to mine.. take it to go. ;) 4 stars! -

Brooklyn, NYGreat place to spend a nice Friday afternoon. There's a lot of choices to to choose from. A good thing about this shop is that you can ask for a sample and not only you get a small paper cup, you get to pick your sample. Even though some people fill up the cup to the top and don't even care as the yogurt spread all over their hands. I personally think this is better than pinkberry. The shop is clean and the staff is friendly.
Off the Wall is interesting because it runs by pounds. Pretty much means that it depend how much yogurt and toppings you pick. So you have to be careful and not go overboard. Another thing is even though you think you have a lot and it runs to a pound it's still going to be around $4-5 which is really good. I love this shop. Highly recommend. -

Winner Winner Chicken Dinner!
New York has had a Fro-Yo explosion the last 3 years. Before that, it was all (un)Tasty-D-Bland, which as a lifelong west coaster, was not fitting the bill. Then Pinkberry happened, and lots of (insert color here)-(insert fruit here) knock off's came a runnin'. Some of these are pretty good (I actually like the tang of Pink Berry's original flavor, but their flavored versions are pretty sucky). Most are not.
Off the Wall however, is by far the best of this bunch when it comes to actual flavor (of which they have many) and consistency. It's all self serve and by weight, which means you can mix and match whatever you want. What's best though, is the fact that it's actually good, no matter what you pick. Coffee mixed with cake batter, peanut butter and chocolate? Done.
