I had a two-night stay here via Priceline bid. This was a great hotel for business travel. It is very conveniently located just a few blocks from Penn Station (I take the train in from EWR). There is a subway station underneath the hotel, but you are a short walk to most of the rails you'll need.
My check-in was easy, and the staff was friendly, contrary to what other reviewers have reported.
The room was clean and in good shape. For one person, the room is plenty big. The free internet was sufficient for email and streaming audio. If you want to stream video, you'll probably want to pay for the better connection, but I did not test it. Water pressure and temperature was excellent in the shower.
I was able to check my bags after checkout with the friendly and prompt bell staff so I didn't carry them around all day.
The hotel is at the edge of Koreatown, so there is lots of Korean cuisine if that's your thing. If not, I suggest going one block north near the Empire State Building and there are a good assortment of bars. Foley's pub is my favorite. -

Seattle, WAWe landed this on a Priceline bid and it was an excellent bargain. Right on 32nd St. in the middle of K-town. They let us check in early and check out late. We were upgraded to a premium room for joining Club Carlson (free and no credit info needed) but the room itself was incredibly small. Like it was a room for ants! I was envious of my 5'1" girlfriend because she could stretch out small... That being said, the bed was huge (king) and comfortable, and how much time do you spend in your room anyways? I'd recommend this place on our deal ($150ish after tax) but not for much more as there are probably better options once you approach $200. -

Radisson Martinique on Broadway sits directly on Korea Way, 32nd Street conveniently on the F Train. It hosts job fairs on the second floor meeting rooms frequently where the line wraps around two blocks. The meeting room on the second floor is ample space though small for a banquet hall and clean. The decor and overall atmosphere is extremely dated reverting to the 1970's era with minimal lighting.
Staff for the Radisson Martinique on Broadway is nonexistent for the veneer of professionalism and respect has gone down into the TOILET!!Comment from Patricia K. of Radisson Martinique on Broadway 9/30/2011

Baltimore, MDCheck in process was quite slow. But they did however let us check in a few hours early.
Rooms are nice and ample size ( there were 4 women un our room and we were pleased with the amount if room in the 2 double bed room)
This hotel is close to a lot if things. 2 blocks from Macy's, subway in same block, Korea town on same block. We also walked to times square and the theater district (about a 15 min walk).
Overall the staff were friendly and were happy to bring us extra towels and anything else we needed. We did leave our bags there upon checkout until we were ready to leave the city and they were happy to do that.
The only other 'con' I'll mention is that a lot if airline staff stay here and the do tend to "take over" the lobby area when they are loading up to go back to the airports. -

San Francisco, CAI've crashed at this location twice in 2007 so far.. Radissons are the type of anonymous out-of-town encounter you want: clean, courteous, easy on the eyes, easy access, and no weirdness afterwards. Cue more colorful metaphors.
My only complaint: The elevators at this Radisson are S-L-O-W. -

We spent a weekend in New York. We picked this hotel because of its location and reasonable price. An entrance to the subway is right outside the front door. It's two stops to Times Square. The Empire State Building is around the block. We got there a little early, but they let us check in anyway without any problem. We asked for a restaurant recommendation, and they directed us to a nice place around the corner with a 10% off coupon.
I was very surprised to see the size of the room. I've stayed in Manhattan before, and the rooms are usually tiny. The room they gave us had two beds and enough room to turn around. We also had a nice view of Broadway. We didn't spend much time in the room though.
All in all it was a nice stay with a decent, clean room at a decent price. Next time I'm in town I'll be staying at this place. -

Pasadena, CAI happened to visit New York City for the first time on the same weekend as the UN summit so rooms were hard to come by. However, I was glad to hear that the hotel was right in the middle of Manhattan and was looking forward to staying there.
We arrived very early in the morning considering we had caught the red-eye flight from LA and the hotel gave us a very hard time about trying to check in earlier. Even though our room was available, the cleaning crew did not arrive till 10 a.m. and would not let us check in any earlier than 11. Come 11 o clock, our room was still not ready so we had to wait yet again.
Once inside, I realized that the room was extremely small. I had never been to New York before so I obviously have nothing to compare the room to but I was definitely not accustomed to the rectangular shape of it. Surprisingly though, we had a king sized bed, a couch, a dresser, small desk, a view of a brick wall, and a small bathroom. It was just the right size for 2 people who just needed a place to sleep. And it was very near to many of the attractions (Times Square/Broadway/Macy's/K Town). Therefore, this room was A-Ok with me... -

Burlington, CanadaVery nice old hotel with a great location. Officially the smallest hotel room I've ever seen! Literally 2 feet on either side of the bed and maybe 5 feet at the end of the bed for dresser with medium sized Sharp LCD on top. Closet next to door that is so close the door hits your clothes as it opens.
Nice bar/restaurant downstairs, less than average business center, staff was OK for most part.
Decent hotel, great old historical building with fully updated and clean rooms. -

Phoenix, AZThe bad: Horrible check in process: One hour plus to get a room, saw the same happen every day for all guests arriving too. Staff are slow and unprepared. Management does not seem to care.
The good: Great location.
The hohum: everthing else.
Final advice: If your time is valuable, stay somewhere else. Phones go unanswered, staff are overwhelmed and will never suffer another bad check in again. -

A couple friends stayed here over the weekend, and I have to say, I was pretty impressed with their room. It was a little small, but this is New York after all. I've been to a couple of hotels in New York that looked like they were converted apartments, chipped paint and all, but this certainly wasn't the case. The decor was warm, the furniture and sheets were spotless. The elevators and lobby were also impressive. I can see most travel guides giving this place 3 stars, it doesn't have a spa, swimming pool, or even a parking lot, but I'm giving this rating based on how I'd recommend it to friends. Plus this place is right in the heart of K-Town, only two blocks from the Empire State Building, and one subway stop from Times Square. Definitely a nice place to stay.Listed in: My Take on KTown
